The debut Rev Jones Band CD titled "Bakwash" will be released In November 2nd. The band is a power trio consisting of singer/bass player Rev Jones(Steelheart, Michael Schenker, Leslie West) drummer Jeff Martin(Racer X, Badlands, Dokken) and Jim Dofka(Dofka, Psycho Scream, Leather Leone).

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based classic heavy metal band AFTERSHOK has just released its third full-length studio album, "Detonate", via Auburn Records. The CD was recorded by Jim Dofka at JK Musicians Workshop in Washington, Pennsylvania. Mastering was handled by Maor Appelbaum, who has worked with such artists as HALFORD, SEPULTURA, ANVIL, DOKKEN, FAITH NO MORE and ARMORED SAINT.
Jim Dofka says "This is a must for all True Metal fans. Revisit fantastic vocals in the style of Halford and Dio. Great tunes, great guitar riffs, powerful double bass, and soaring vocals.

Jim Dofka playing guitar on the new Habitual Sins CD. Habitual Sin Video Released to introduce the upcoming full length CD. Vocalist Matthew Bizilia, has released the first song with his new band, Habitual Sins, entitled “I Pray For You”. Bizilia wrote all of the music and played all of the drum and bass tracks on the record. He pulled in an impressive guitar team with Steve Pollick and Jim Dofka to round out the lineup. |

West Virginia-based metallers DOFKA have been hard at work promoting music
from their upcoming CD with a successful string of performances in Pennsylvania,
Ohio and West Virginia. The band's new CD entitled Humanity Bleak will be
released February 23rd on World Nations Records. Artwork for the CD was done
by Dorian Cleavenger.
